Dr. Fred Luk received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and has twelve years of teaching experience in the United States. He has served as an Assistant Professor at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and also held visiting positions at the Economics Department and the Anderson School of Management of UCLA.

Dr. Luk returned to Hong Kong and managed a trading company for two years before starting his import-export business. Dr. Luk also served as a part-time lecturer of HKU SPACE where he has taught International Business Economics for the MBA programme of Royal Holloway, University of London and Finance for the Bachelor of Management Studies programme of the University of Hong Kong.
